There's an animated catoon on Insta that you might enjoy if you haven't seen it already. It's called Simon the Cat and the artist/animator has a great, dry sense of humor. I highly recommend it.
I'm going through the links you shared but I needed to tell you that the " noticing" notebook is such an exquisite idea! The perfect way to enrich our lives even more.
The cat tutorials, I don't know. I've sort of given up on my cat! She's my queen and runs my house with an iron fist wrapped in beautiful fur.
It’s very meaningful to me that your Noticing notebook is to get you out of your head and listening through your body Tammy. I appreciate you talking about this. Painting in a connected way is the most pure way I get information. It has been journaling in the past. I thought painting was for something else. It seems I’m learning differently now. Thank you for sharing and your notebook is indeed beautiful.
Thank you Dean. Your comment was so kind. I might try painting. It sounds like a wonderful medium. I'm so glad it works for you!
Getting out of my head and into my body is so important! The more I do it, the better my mental health is. For example, I went on a bike ride today to see a friend. On my ride home I was looking for things to write down. I saw a beautiful black cat sitting on a log in the park. Her fur was such a contrast to all the green and brown colors. It was a delight to see her (and all the birds)!
I'm not sure how I feel about the ChatGPT. There are lots of problems with the technology. My biggest concern is that it will be used to spread disinformation. The interview I linked to is super smart and helpful. Lots to ponder.
I hope you start a noticing notebook! It's such a fun project.
The "noticing notebook" is such a fantastic name. And you should definitely go to the Huntington if you can! It's a magical place.
Thanks Jillian! :) That's so kind of you to say.
I LOVE libraries. I'll add Huntington to my bucket list. xoxo

Hi Deb! I'm not on IG very often these days. But I have seen Simon the Cat online! I LOVE the artist who creates Simon. Thanks for reading. xoxo

Thank you! I hope you start a "Noticing Notebook," too!
Don't give up on your Queen! :) She can still rule the house and learn new tricks. xoxo
Yes we are definitely onto something 😂 Thanks for your thoughtful reply.

I have such reservations about ChatGPT. I'm glad it worked out for you and thank you for sharing about it.
I need to be better about journaling and keeping something small with me to notice things as well.
