I'm going to take a break too. A break from all the things I am concerned about in the world and just enjoy what is right about it. I want to plant potatoes and flowers and vegetables to eat. I may not be able to change all I see that is bad but I can change how I look at things and enjoy what life has to offer.

I hope you have a great break and there is no doubt I will miss your joyful, elegant writing but I hope you will have the chance to "look at the world with quiet eyes" (quote from Howard Thurman) as you take this break. May this summer have unexpected joys and refreshment and may you know a spaciousness throughout.

Thanks for responding, Tammy! It was my pleasure. I was SO happy to! I will not have much rest as my busy season has finally arrived, but with your post...I think I will rethink how I take care of myself through this new journey ;) I think I'll start by leaving the office before dark tonight lol, and going to the sunset with some ice-cream and enjoying the peace and beauty. I am happy you are doing this! I have been reading your work since I found you in 2007 with Rowdy Kittens. It was during the journey I appreciated taking any sort of sabbatical (especially social media) and I learned it from you! People will miss you, like I have from time to time, but if they're really caring and really like what you do, they will be back when you come back. <3 I applaud you for so many things and appreciate that you are still out there doing what you love to do...and then taking a break to do more things that bring you increased peace and connection. Thanks for the book recommendations :) Enjoy your summer!

Have a lovely break! I will certainly miss seeing photos of Ursula, and reading your words. But breaks give us more to write about, so it's worth it.
