Hi friends,
Spring has arrived in my neighborhood! I’ve been enjoying bike rides, nature walks, coffee dates with friends, and taking photos with my iPhone.
Today, I thought it would be fun to share a photo essay with you. Enjoy!
With that, here’s what sparked my creativity and curiosity recently:
1.) Here’s my latest article for Be More with Less: “Simple Spring Cleaning Ideas: 30 Tips and Resources.”
2.) The following video inspired me: “Picking up trash for fun.”
3.) “The Case for Hanging Out: There’s a growing crisis in our social lives. Could the cure be this simple?” by Dan Kois
4.) Fun lessons learned — “One Year of Biking.”
5.) A delightful writing prompt via Ross Gay:
“What did you learn that you love in the last week? Which is to say, what did you learn that you were really moved by in the last week?”
6.) Recently, I finished Thank You for Listening by Julia Whelan and A Million Junes by Emily Henry. I loved both novels!
7.) Here’s an interesting profile of audiobook narrator and author Julia Whelan — “That Voice You’re Hearing? It Might Be Hers.”
Thanks for reading!

A Spring Photo Essay
Woke up Tuesday morning to a fresh overnight snowfall that covered everything. Luckily it melted during the day, revealing the only things growing right now -- garlic shoots and the beginnings of some rhubarb leaves. No glorious color such as in your photo's yet.
I can relate to all the pictures, spring in Italy is mostly the same : sunny clear skies and the hustle and bustle that comes with better weather and that helps us see everything with a sense of wonder. ❤️
